Event: 3rd Annual Tin Barn Market Flea

I am usually a dollar short and day late when it comes to this event.

The first time, we were there the next morning and discovered that the yard sale was really just leftovers from this fantastic event the night before. The second year, I just wasn't on the mailing list. But this year... this year I was on it, and waiting with baited breath.

Real Estate: She's a Brick House...

Mighty, mighty, just letting it all hang out, ya she's a brick house.
Okay, so perhaps a Commodores song is a little too literal.

However, this unassuming little gem really is might, mighty. Check it out for sale on Comfree!

Christmas Fun

Alright it is has been far too long since my last post - Soooooo you are in for a bit of a Christmas re-cap.
Besides, the way I look at it, winter is still in full swing here in Carleton Place. As I speak it is -20C and with a huge dump of snow a couple of days ago, I think winter will be sticking around a while longer.

This year the in-laws were coming to see our house, and spend Christmas with us for the first time.
Of course, we needed to do a little preparation before they came, you know, clean and Christmas-i-fy the place.

Junking: By Proxy

I had to work today.
Did that stop me from junking? Hells no!
Never underestimate the power of a smart phone!

Real Estate: 1843 Stone Stunner

In Carleton Place, there are many beautiful homes along the river.
On my morning walk with Grey-dog, I came across one such home with an open house sign, and of course it prompted me to Google Barbara Couch's Remax website.

Built in 1843, this stone stunner has beautifully manicured property.
