Growin' Stuff: Get Stoned

Before I get into this year's project, I made a few new labels for my garden.
This year I decided to grow some different stuff, namely, peas.
Check out how I did it back in this post.

Yes, it says Jon Snow Peas.
We think we are pretty clever in this house.

Real Estate: Mill Conversion

Gorgeous... and for sale. Check it out on their website!

Since Lanark County has a lot of old grist mills, it is pretty common to see them converted into residential apartments. I love it. This one is from the 1820s.

This is a great example of adaptive reuse.

Real Estate: 1843 Stone Stunner

In Carleton Place, there are many beautiful homes along the river.
On my morning walk with Grey-dog, I came across one such home with an open house sign, and of course it prompted me to Google Barbara Couch's Remax website.

Built in 1843, this stone stunner has beautifully manicured property.
