Dining Room: Drab to Dazzling

Our dining room was boring. It featured a light wood valence with 1980s fabric vertical blinds within; a flowered ceiling fan with a special angel watering... something.

A few changes and the room looks completely different! As with all of our renovations, I only want to enhance the original vibe of the house, rather than try and bring it into the current decade.

Guest Bedroom Makeover: Dank to Dreamy

My strategy for decorating this house is to start with the worst first!

McHaffie Flea Market: Morrisburg

We just had an amazing junking trip to the McHaffie Flea Market today!
This was my first time to this one, which has not only an average size outdoor section, but also has an incredibly expansive indoor section.

Today's post will be mostly photographic in nature - I managed to get a few good pictures that show the wide diversity of items that we came across.

CARS! Looks like there are some red-lines in there.

Architecture: Beautifully Creepy

This beautiful home listing came to me by way of RV in Montreal...
I was stunned by its haunting beauty...

From the outside, it is pretty unassuming.
There is certainly some age there, as many Montreal homes have.
This one dates to 1920.

Reclaimed Window: Following the Curve

As you will remember, we brought home an old door from a neighbour who was renovating. A few days later, I realized that they put out a large window as well!
